Local Boards Being Formed In the Omaha Area

Vistage International is sponsoring the launch of its fourth Private Advisory Board in the Omaha area.

In 2009, Vistage launched two advisory boards; a CEO /President board and a Trusted Advisory Board. In 2010, two more boards will be launched with new boards serving the small business sector and key executives.

Each board holds 15 seats and members are invited to join only after a careful selection process. The average stay for a board member is 8.9 years and companies involved in the private board will see their companies grow 2 to 3 times their annual growth rate.

Have you been nominated as a candidate for an advisory board?

The only way to find out is to ask! We start with a list of approximately 250+ candidates and then our Board chairmen have the arduous task of reviewing the candidates, interviewing them and then determining the top 16 candidates that will add value to the board.

Sometimes it is difficult to reach the candidate by phone. Usually the candidate will get a personal call from the Chairman forming the board. Often it is overlooked and ignored because the CEO may think it's a sales call.

If you get a call from Cathy Fitzhenry or Penny Kowal, know that they are only calling to inform you of your nomination. The initial call only takes about 5-10 minutes. This is enough time to inform you of your nomination, and ask some preliminary selection questions.

To find out if you are on the  nomination list simply email Cathy Fitzhenry
